After Mary, my wife and a RE/MAX Realtor here in Las Vegas and I migrated to the Las Vegas Valley from Eden Prairie MN in 2002, I learned that the best days to fly here are Wednesday or Thursday and as you probably already know, if you stay over a Saturday, your flight is less expensive.
If you can make time to come in and stay for the week (maybe Jan 23 and fly out on the 30th) there are lots of attractions that you could take advantage of and still stay in touch with clients via mobile phone, tablets or laptops.
There are some very cool local haunts here that Mary and I really enjoy. If you can't take advantage of them during the week of the Las Vegas Market, save them for another trip. There's a huge community beyond the Las Vegas Strip.

For the latest info and a calendar on the local jazz scene/lounge style entertainment, we subscribe to Evan Davis Jazz LLC blog. When you subscribe, Evan sends you an email whenever he updates his blog. He's led us to some really good off strip music entertainment here in the Valley.
Our two favorite Suburban Casino/Hotels to frequent are the Red Rock Casino Hotel & Spa in Summerlin and Green Valley Ranch Resort & Casino in Henderson. Neither Mary or I gamble, but they both have great multi-screen movie theaters and all kinds of dining options.
If you want to play golf, we have some great courses here in the Valley Here is a link to Las Vegas Golf Courses. Mary and I live on Siena Golf Course. If you have trouble online, call me and I give you some insight on good courses with decent rates.
If you're a non-golfer there is always the Hoover Dam or the Red Rock Canyon State Park Maybe shopping suites you... We have the Las Vegas Premium Outlets- North and the Las Vegas Premium Outlet-South. If you want to take a drive, there are always the Fashion Outlets out in Primm Valley near the Nevada/California State Line.
